As an all-female team of three – Georgina Gilbert, Rebecca Openshaw-Rowe, and Rebecca Hinchley – are going on an expedition to Antarctica to challenge gender stereotypes and show what women are capable of!
They are all firefighters from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service (SWFRS), Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service (DFRS) and Mid & West Wales Fire Service (MAWWFS) and in the months previous to their trip happening at the time of the release of this episode they have visited numerous schools and companies to tell their story, their mission and inspire more people to show what women are capable of in every area.
Because you can’t be what you can’t see!
